97, of Lowell, IN, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022. He is survived by his children, Gene (Laine), Debbie Jette, Judy (George) Milde; daughter in law, Joan; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Marie Browning; son, Rodger.

Melvin was a WWII Navy Veteran and a Korean War Army Veteran. He was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. Melvin retired as a Truck Driver for Artim Transportation after 30 years and also worked for Wilco for 18 years.
