Michael Shelhammer

67, of Lowell, IN, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025.  He is survived by his wife, Lisa; son, Kody (Megan Smolek) Kemp of Hammond; siblings, Dawn (Rich) Meadows of Perrysville, IN, Julie Riechert and Chris (Debi) Shelhammer, both of Lowell; and nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marian.

Mike was a graduate of Lowell High School, and served in the US Army.  He was an OTR Truck Driver for 44 years, most recently driving for MC Tanklines.  He was a very caring and loving man who always put his family first.  He also had a great love for his motorcycle.    

Visitation, Monday March 17, from 2-6 PM, Concluding with Memorial Services at 6 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell. 

Memorial Contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
