Mr. Joy “J.W.” Stinnett

89, of Lowell, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021. He is survived by his children, Lucille “Tina” (Mike) Pancini of Lowell, James (Mary) of Sycamore, IL, Michael of Lowell, Matthew (Jenny) of Lowell and Samantha (Bryan) Mayol of Fishers, IN; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia “Ginny” in 2008. Joy was a Carpenter and retired from the Town of Lowell Water Dept. as the Assistant Superintendent. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and Bronze Star Recipient as well as a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan. Cremation will precede Private Graveside Services, in Lowell Memorial Cemetery, through Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell.
