Norma Niemeyer
95, of Lowell, IN, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023. She is survived by her son, Rick (Connie) of Lowell; son in law, Rex Cunningham of Noblesville; daughter in law, Linda Niemeyer Weseloh of KS; grandchildren, Jason Niemeyer, Jennifer (Kyle) Day, Amanda (Steven) Rud and Jessica Cunningham; great grandchildren, Kase Day, Parker Rud, Jameson Cunningham; siblings, Alan (Linda) Trueblood, Evelyn (David) Stokes, all of IN and Dave (Val) Trueblood of NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernie and daughter, Pamela Cunningham, son Doyle and grandson, Mason Cunningham-Bauner.
Norma was a lifetime member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Crown Point. She and Ernie owned and operated the Lowell Livestock Auction and Niemeyer Auction House since 1956, where she was active until very recently. Norma was also a great supporter both her husband and son’s political careers.
Visitation, Saturday August 26, from 2-7 with Funeral Services Sunday at 1 PM,
all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lowell. Burial will follow in West Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Lowell’s American Legion or VFW.
