Pat Kennedy Sr. passed away November 3, 2025. He was 82 years old. He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Gloria (Gonzalez) Kennedy, along with 3 boys. Sons, Pat Jr (Kim) of Minnesota, Dale (Meg) of Texas, Mike (Kathleen) of California; 4 grandsons Evan, Myles, Grant, and Reece.
Pat Sr was preceded in death by his father Thomas Sr, mother Arlus (Sark), and brother Thomas Jr.
Pat graduated from IUN with a bachelor degree in Geology. He had a successful career as an engineer working for NIPSCO for 30 years. Upon retirement from NIPSCO, he enjoyed a second career as a photographer.
Pat’s passions included photography and gardening. He could regularly be seen on the sidelines of all Lowell athletic games with his camera. He really enjoyed photographing his 3 boys playing sports. Pat also found much joy in landscape and wildlife photography. He traveled throughout North America taking beautiful photos. In the later stage of his life, he and wife Gloria found great pleasure spoiling their 4 grandsons. He will be missed dearly.
Visitation, Friday, November 14th from 4-7PM with a Prayer Service at 7PM, at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, November 15th at 11:00AM, at Saint Edward Catholic Church, 216 South Nichols St, Lowell, IN 46356.
