Patrick Higgins

79, of Lowell, IN passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022. He was born December 21, 1942 to Leonard Higgins and Ann Richardson.  He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Pat; daughter, Cheryl (Lynn) McDaniel; step children, Tammy (Kevin) Sorba, Katie (Mark) Bilyeu, Sarah (Johnny) Williams; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; siblings, Daniel (Valerie) Higgins, Kathleen (Sharon Albert) Bubala, Michael (Deb) Higgins, Karen (Jerry) Zuck, Richard (Theresa) Martinez; sister in law, Cindy Higgins; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son, Sean; brother, Leonard. Pat was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, he attended Saturday Mass and on Sundays he would always join his wife at The Lowell Church of Christ.  Patrick retired after 36 years at EJ&E Railroad as an engineer.

Patrick’s loves of life included traveling, winters in Florida, photography, church and most importantly doing all the above with his wife Pat.   Patrick enjoyed family events.  He always had a great joke to share that put many smiles on our faces. 

Patrick will be dearly missed.  This world is a lesser place without Patrick.
