Peggy Rose Weybright

78, of Grant Park, IL, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Vibra Medical Center, Merrillville, IN.  She was born on December 17, 1944, the daughter of Emerson and Mabel Phebus of Lowell, IN.  In July of 1966, she married William Weybright in Grant Park. 

Peggy was an RN and spent many years dedicated to working with elderly patients.  She was an avid reader, loved spending time in her flower garden, and with her family and feline companions.  She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Grant Park. 

Peggy is survived by a son, Tim (Tina) Weybright of Manteno, IL and a daughter, Trisha Jack of Oviedo, Florida.  She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Sara Weybright and Keighan Jack. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Weybright, one brother, Larry Phebus of Columbus, Mississippi and her parents.

Visitation Monday, November 27 from 4-7 with Funeral Services Tuesday, 11 AM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lowell, IN.  Burial will follow in West Creek Cemetery. 

Memorials may be given to her Church or her family.
