Phyllis “Nonni” Cunningham

80, of Lowell, IN, passed away Tuesday February 4, 2025.  She is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Jeffrey (Kim) of Chesterton and Jacqueline (Ernest) Bodrazic of Lowell; grandchildren, Lucas, Libby and Charlie Cunningham; Courtney (Andrew) Jewell and Gavin (Samantha) Marsh; great grandchildren, Emerson, Blaire and Cora Ruth Jewell; Bryson and Zaydn Marsh; sister-in-law, Yvonne Ross. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Helen Ross; and brothers, Fr. Mario and Louis.

Phyllis graduated from Bowling Green University in OH and received her Master’s in Business Education from ISU, Terre Haute.  She began her teaching career at Lake Central High School and retired from Tri Creek School Corporation after teaching a total of 29 years.  She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Lowell, the Beta Lambda Chapter of PKE Sorority and the Heritage Quilting Guild.

Visitation, Monday February 10, from 10-12, Concluding with Memorial Services at 12 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.

Memorial Contributions may be given to her church.
