Randall L. Santy

77, of Lowell passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, March 14, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Susan (née Sacco); children, Cheryl (Dwane) Austgen of Cedar Lake, Steven (Heather) Santy of West Lafayette; grandchildren, Lauren and Natalie Austgen; brother, Michael Maynard; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son David Santy, his sister Debbie Kohl, his brother Frank Santy, and his brother Larry Maynard. Randy was the owner and operator of Randy’s Plumbing Service since 1966. Throughout those years Randy mentored and trained many people to become journeymen and contractors in the plumbing and heating trades. He and Sue were 1959 graduates of Lowell High School where they were high school sweethearts and prom king and queen. He served in the US Army, was a Friend of Bill W., and a proud family man. Cremation will precede Visitation, May 18 from 3-5 at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the American Cancer Society, or the Lupus Foundation of America.
