Rebecca J Lain

72, of Camden, IN, originally Lowell, IN, passed away on Oct 30, 2024.

She is survived by brothers: Rich (Janet) Mikels of Muncie, John Mikels of Lowell, Pat (Becky) Mikels of West Lafayette, sister: Martha Lain of Camden, sister-in-law’s: Lynda Lain of Lowell, and Nancy Lain of Lowell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister-in-law Judy Mikels and brothers Bill Lain and Henry Lain.

Becky graduated from Lowell High School in 1970 along with her close friends Mary Kasparian and Gayle Painter.

She then followed her love of reading by graduating from Purdue University with BS, MA degrees in Library Media Specialist and taught grades 1 through 12 at Carroll Consolidated School Corporation in Flora, Indiana. Becky also spent her summers in the family cabin on Blackduck, Minnesota fishing and taking relatives that showed up out for boat rides around the lake.

A Private Graveside Service will be held in Lake Prairie Cemetery in Lowell. Services entrusted to Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.
