Reid Mitsch
32, of Lowell, IN, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 9, 2026. He is survived by his son, Gage Michael; fiancée, Kristy Marshall; parents, Jacki (Jim) Hendrick of Lowell; and Mike (Cindy) Mitsch of Culver; siblings, Claire (Chandler) Spring, Reese (Courtney) Mitsch, Reily (Faith) Mitsch, Amanda (Adam) Levin, Chris Hendrick, Jennifer (Buddy) and Kimberly (Bobby); Kristy’s children, CJ (Madison) Elder and Ashlin (George) Salatas; grandmother, Hilda May; numerous and very loved nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends; and his beloved companion, his dog Beau-Jangles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Margaret Mitsch; and Don May, Sr.
Reid owned and operated Mitsch Custom Landscape and was a graduate of Lowell High School. He had a love for fishing, and hunting water fowl, deer and turkey. He lived by a favorite saying, “Fueled by Faith”
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15 from 2-7, concluding with a Celebration of Life at 7 PM, all at Lowell Church of Christ, 299 N. Burr St.
The family asks that, IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, contributions in Reid’s honor be given to Lowell Church of Christ.
