Renee Arnold

69, of Lowell, IN, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026.  She is survived by her daughter, Christina “Tina” (Tim) Simmons of Lowell; her brother, Michael (Donna) Trueblood of Lowell; her step children, Mindi (Rich) Ray, and Mike Arnold, and their children; father of her daughter, Guy (Nancy) Arnold; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford “Bud” and Virginia Trueblood. 

Renee was a graduate of Hanover Central High School, Ball State University and received her Master’s in Education from Purdue University.  She was a retired Special Education Teacher at NISEC, also working at Lowell Middle School.  She had previously been a Lowell Middle and High School cheer coach and Bluebird Softball coach.  Renee liked staying active by heading to the YMCA, going for bike rides, kayaking or golfing.   She also spent some of her free time at the Lowell Library Book Club.  She loved the color purple, tie-dye, music, her kitties, her grand dog, Jersey, and the CUBS. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, from 3-6, Concluding with a Memorial Service at 6 PM, all at Sheet Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.
