Rhonda Strickhorn-Smitherman
63, of Calera, AL, formerly of Shelby, IN, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Smitherman; siblings, Mike Strickhorn, Linda (Gary) Longhi, Misty (Dave) Frampton, Gerald (Sherry) Lauderback; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved Yorkie, Buster. Preceded in death by her parents, John Strickhorn and Alice Lee; and her beloved Yorkie, Bella. Rhonda was a 1977 graduate of Lowell High School and went on to become a Cosmetologist. She had many hobbies including comedy, crafting, jewelry making and was an amazing seamstress. Rhonda enjoyed spending time at the beach with her feet in the sand and her family by her side. Visitation, Sunday, March 26th from 2-6PM with Funeral Service following at 6PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356. Private Burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family. www.sheetfuneral.com
