67, of Lowell, IN, formally of Glenwood, IL, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020. He is survived by his children, George, Melissa and Megan; sisters, Tamara (Bill) Downen and Colleen (Raymond) Zwolinski; preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Lou Griffith; sister, Patricia Griffith. Richard was a Vietnam Navy veteran and worked for IL Central Railroad. He graduated from Homewood Flossmoor High School and was active in the Chicago Heights Drama Group.
