Rick Watson

76, of Crown Point and formerly Lake Village, IN, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025.  He is survived by his sons, Eric, Anthony, Tobon (Raychell) and Myles; grandchildren, Taryn; Mckenzie, Maverick and Milena; siblings, Patty (Pat) O’Brien, Jim (Terisa), Michael, Mary (Sal) Baghdadi; Marilyn Bennett, John (Beth), Wayne (Kathy), Marie (Mike) Easter and Marie (Ralph) Hernandez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Estel and Mary; and 4 siblings.

Rick was an Air Force Vietnam veteran who served as an MP.  He was the Owner of Watson Exhaust Service.  Rick spent many years coaching wrestling and mixed martial arts.  He was an avid fisherman, a great cook, enjoyed flower gardening, yard work and all sports. 

Visitation Friday May 2, from 3-7 with Funeral Services Saturday at 11 AM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lowell.  Burial  and Military Honors will follow in Lake Village Cemetery. 

Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
