Ronald Steele

77, of Lake Village, IN passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025.  His is survived by his daughter, Paulette (Chuck) Fowler of Beaverville; grandchildren, Samantha Goddard, Jamie (Tyler) Horton, Kale and Wyatt Steele, Jerryn Fowler;

great grandchildren, Rylann, Casen, Hailey, Kolsen and Korra;

siblings, Linda Michaels and Josephine (John) Kroll of Lake Village, Leonard, Jr. of AR and Susan (Kenneth, Jr.) Troy of Rensselaer; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa; parents, Leonard and Bernice; sons, Leonard, Donald and Ronald, Jr; son in law, Roy Stewart; sister, Shirley Thrall.

Ron retired from Globe/Reiter after 37 years, and was a member of Lake Village Baptist Church.  He was a tractor enthusiast, collecting 14 of them, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.  You could always find him working and tinkering with things.  His family was his favorite thing in his life and he cherished spending time with them. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 15 from 1-4, Concluding with Funeral Services at 4 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Private Burial will take place in Lake Village Cemetery.
