Ronald “Ronnie” L. Herz

86, of Lowell, IN, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026.  He is survived by his siblings, John “Jack” (Edna) of TN and Rachel (Gene) Lagacy of Cedar Lake; sister-in-law, Della Herz; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Nelda; brother, Ed and sister, Melody Pearson.

Ronnie was a 1958 Lowell High School graduate.  He served in the US Air Force and retired from Rieter/Globe Automotive. He had been a member of Lake Prairie Presbyterian Church in Lowell. Ronnie enjoyed golfing, fishing, donuts from Strack’s, his daily lunches at George’s, and time spent with family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2 from 11-1, Concluding with a Funeral Service at 1 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Burial will follow in West Creek Cemetery. 

Memorial Contributions may be given to the Lowell Library.
