Roy Carlin

82, of Lowell, passed away Thursday June 16, 2022.  He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; children, Emil (Angela) and Jeremy (Tricia); grandchildren, Cody (Lauren), Emily and Haley; Brendan; Lydia, Jamie Dale (Maria) and Jeannie Hoover and a great grandson, Jamie Dale, III; siblings, Delores Valandingham, Leta (Dan) Kelly, Bill and David (Robin); son in law, Jamie Hoover and sister in law, Patricia Carlin.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Hoover; siblings, Shirley Earl, Larry and brother in law, Bob Valandingham. 

Roy was a retired Conductor with Union Pacific Railroad, member of St. John Lutheran Church in Beecher and member of the Lowell Lions Club. 

Visitation, Thursday June 23 from 10-1, Concluding with Funeral Services at 1 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.

Burial will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his church.
