Ruth Herr

86, of Lowell, IN passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024.  She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William Jr; children, Henry (Kay), Dan (Laura), Rich (Janet), Jody (Carla), Wendy (David) Dahn and Mary (Ken) Herr-Williams; 23 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and her sister, Florence Heintz. 

She was preceded in death by children, William, III and Cynthia Hurn; siblings, Nancy Gill and Clarence and Tom Tysse; and a great granddaughter. 

Ruth was a founding and active member of Hope Community Church in Lowell.  She had been active in 4-H and the Lowell Library Quilting Club.  She helped run the family business, Herr Farms, where she enjoyed taking an active role with tours and events. 

Visitation, Friday October 11 from 3-7 at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 10 AM, at Hope Community Church of Lowell.

Burial will follow in West Creek Cemetery. 

Memorial Contributions may be given to her church.
