Ruth Schiesser

92, of Lowell, passed away Thursday June 23, 2022.  She is survived by her children, Edward (Deb) of Crown Point and Sally Cook of Schererville; grandchildren, Brian Schiesser, Jennifer (Brad) McDowell, Julie (Brian) Ashmore, Jason (Ang) Stockrahm, Zac (Karri) Cook and 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Sharon), Joe (Jan) Adler and good friends the Karm family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester; siblings, Robert, Edward and Richard Adler, Edith Trevisol, Florence Windbigler and Margaret Scheidt. 

Ruth was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, participating in Rosary Sodality and a member of both Lowell Patchwork Quilters and Crown Point Heritage Quilters. 

Visitation, Friday July 1 from 930-1230, Concluding with Funeral Services at 1230 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lowell.  Burial will follow in Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrilliville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Hospice of the Calumet.
