Sandra “Sandi” L. Malinak

37, of Hammond, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.  She is survived by her fiance, Ashton Goodpaster; children, Cambria and Axton Malinak and their father Patrick; Willow Goodpaster; her mother, Tara Conley Main; siblings, James (Andrea) Conley and Ashley Maleckar, Eric (Lisa) Bazzetta, and Dakota Main; boyfriend, Al Tucker and his children, Jacob and Raymond; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Todd Bender. 

Sandi was a 2008 graduate of Lowell High School.  She had worked as a Direct Support Professional with IN PACT, a position she took great pride in.  Sandi was known for her free spirit and loving personality. 

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7 from 4-8 at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell. A Celebration of Life will be held and announced by the family, at a later date.
