Scott A. Adams

53, of Morocco, IN, passed away peacefully, April 19, 2023, at Franciscan Health Lafayette. He is survived by his soul mate, Lori Rich of Morocco; mother, Sandra Adams of Schneider; children, Miranda Steele of Rensselaer, Aaron (Elizabeth) Rich of FL and Justin (Meghan) Rich of Rensselaer; sister, Traci (Scotty Dunfee) Adams of Lake Village; grandchildren, Savannah, Gavin, Raigen, Annabelle, Paige, Shawn, Jayden Scott, Ellie, Ryker, Charlie, Braxton and his fur baby, Jazzie Mae; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family.  He was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents, Clowie and Orville Adams, and his Granny, Helen Adams. 

Scott was a 1988 Lowell High School Graduate and served in the Army National Guard.  He worked as a Welder for 21 years at Talbert Manufacturing in Rensselaer.  He was an avid Tony Stewart Racing, CUBS and lifelong Chicago Bears fan.  He loved his grandchildren so very much, enjoying camping with them and watching Raigen dirt race.  He loved trying new recipes, eating them and spending time talking to anyone and everyone on the phone.  Scott and Lori’s house was a divided sports house on Red River Rivalry, he being a huge Texas fan and Lori Oklahoma all the way. 

Cremation will precede Celebration of Life with Military Rites will be June 3, 11 AM at Lake Village Presbyterian Church. Jay Janke officiating.
