Scott Dewes

60, of Lowell, IN, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023.  He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Leone “Lee”; children, Michael of Dyer and Nicole of VA; mother, Doree of Lowell; brother, Dean (Joni) of Lowell; nephews, Dave and Marc (Tiffanny) and their children Olivia and Alia.  He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond and a sister, Alice. 

Scott was a Purdue University Graduate with an Electrical Engineering Degree, also obtaining his Professional Engineering License and worked for Superior Engineering in Hammond.  Scott was known for his sarcastic sense of humor.  He enjoyed traveling, welding and tinkering in the pole barn while listening to classic rock. Being outdoors and hiking were at the top of his list and where his love for Montana grew from.  His greatest love however, was his family and spending time with them. 

Visitation, Thursday June 15 from 2-6 at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Cremation will follow services.
