Sharon Ann Krieter

84, of Lowell, IN, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 31, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She was born at home in Crown Point on June 22, 1939 to Edwin and AnnaBelle (nee’ Kelsey) Patz, who preceded her in death. 

She is survived by her children, Debra (Ted) Oboy, Billy (Annie) Krieter, Kathy (David) McDaniel, Cindy (Bill) Handlon, Kevin (Lisa) Krieter, Susan (Larry) Milby and Mark (Melissa) Krieter; siblings, Lynne Fischer, Edwin (Patricia) Patz and Terry (Jill) Patz; 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death are her loving husband, Donald; siblings, Lana Fauser, Chuck and Denny Patz; and twin grandsons, Joshua and Jacob Milby.  

Sharon was retired from the Lake County Juvenile Center and Smart Stop gas stations.  She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with family and friends.  She was very loved and will be missed by all.

Per Sharon's wishes, a Celebration of Life at Lake County Fairgrounds will take place Saturday, June 22, beginning at 12 Noon.  Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell, entrusted with her care.
