Shirley Beeching
85, of Lowell, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Omer; children, Tom (Denise) of IL, Mark (Valori) of DeMotte and Sheryl Cooper of Lowell; grandchildren, Matthew (Brandi), Melissa and Michael (Renee); Lindsey (Nunana) and Michael; Jessica (Tim), Katie (Geno), Lori (John) and 13 great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Janet) of Florida, sister-in-law Marty of Tennessee and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother James.
Shirley attended Bethel Church in Crown Point, and was a past member of First Church of the Nazarene, Lowell, where she had been very active in teaching Sunday School, Junior Quizzing, playing organ and piano and had served as the church Secretary. She had worked as a receptionist for Dr. Corns and served in the cafeteria at Lowell High School. She enjoyed knitting and sewing.
Visitation, Friday October 27 from 11-2, Concluding with Funeral Services at 2 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell. Burial will follow in Lowell Memorial Gardens.
