Shirley N. Zaugg

94, of Lake Village, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020.  She is survived by her children, Fred (Andrea), Brenda (Dallas) Gedney, Janet (Gordon) Williams, Karen Friers and Jeffery; daughter in law, Pam; 23 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren; brother, Milton “Butch” Nevens and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick, Jr.; parents Fenwick and Edna; son, Timothy; son in law, Stan Friers; and siblings, Ruth, Patricia, Jane and Bill.  Shirley was born in upstate New York, where she grew up and raised her family until her and Fred’s retirement to LaBelle, FL.  She was a Registered Nurse and member of Village Baptist Church in Lake Village.  Visitation, Friday November 27 from 10-11 at her church, concluding with Funeral Services at 11AM, which will also be available on Sheets Funeral Home Facebook page.  Burial will take place in Prospect Cemetery, Prospect, NY.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to her church.
