Steven Ebert

70, of Lowell, IN, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025.  He is survived by his wife, Cindy (nee Ramsey); children, Lila (Phil) Milia of TN, Christoper of Valparaiso, Elizabeth of Lowell, Laura (Joel) Grossman of Marion and Kathleen (Gary) Conder of Lowell; grandchildren, Steven and Joshua Thomas; Haley Hawk, Lori Hawk, Robert-Lee and Nathaneil Slinkard; and a great grandson, Aiden Thomas; mother, Joy Ebert. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey; siblings, Barbara and Jeffery.

Steve was a member of Journey Church in Lowell.  He retired as a laborer from CFC International in Chicago Heights.  Steve taught and played the piano and was a fierce animal lover, and was known as the “animal whisperer.”

Visitation, Tuesday May 20, from 10-1, Concluding with Funeral Services at 1 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Burial will follow in Orchard Grove Cemetery. 

Memorial Contributions may be given in his honor, to Heartland Hospice.
