Urban “Jim” Linden

78, of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026. He is survived by his son, Nicholas (Jessalyn) Linden; stepchildren, Cassandra (William) Domele, Paul Gaither, Scott (Angelia) Gaither, Jeffrey (Eileen) Gaither; grandchildren, Sharalyn, Ambriella, Blaise, Everett and 11 step grandchildren and 15 step great grandchildren; brother, Ed (Sandy) Linden. Preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; infant daughter, Jennifer Louise.

Jim retired from 84” Hot Strip Mill at US Steel in Systems Repair. He was a US Army Vietnam veteran and member of the American Legion Fred Schmidt Post #20 Crown Point, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Crown Point Aerie #2659 and Moose Lodge Crown Point #260.
