Walter “Butch” Michaels

79, of Lake Village, IN passed away Friday, May 26, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Walter Jr. (Elizabeth) and David (Amanda); grandchildren, Amanda Milosevich, Brianna Michaels, Cameryn Michaels; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Roger (Gail) Michaels. Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Leah Michaels; his twin brother, Raymond Michaels; granddaughter, Ashley Michaels. Butch was a Vietnam Army Veteran and went on to retire, after 43 accident free years, from Union Pacific as a switchman. He was also a devoted member of Village Baptist Church. Butch was a family man, he enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandbabies.

Visitation, Thursday, June 1st from 10AM-2PM with Funeral Service at 2PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356. Burial will follow in Lake Village Cemetery.
