William “Bill” Anderson
61, of Lowell, IN, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; brother, James (Paulette); sisters in law, Kim (Gary) Robertson and Sherri Bergfors; nieces and nephew, Amanda and Emily; Ashley, Lindsay and Emily; Kyle and Jessica. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Betty; and a brother-in-law, Todd Bergfors.
Bill was an Elevator tradesman all his life. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing football and going to car races. Bill was also a long-time member of the Piscateers Fishing Club, where he enjoyed all the times he spent there with his friends. He was a big Bears fan and an avid NASCAR fan as well. Through the years he traveled to different tracks and enjoyed going to the races with his buddies and loved racing at Raceway Park. Bill liked cars, but he definitely had a love for his Labrador Retrievers, each one held a special place in his heart. He loved hanging out with friends and family, reminiscing about the good times. Bill never came empty handed to a gathering either, if there was 20 people he brought enough for 50. Bill was a generous soul. He never had children of his own, but he sure did love and spoil his nieces and nephew. Most of all, he loved his wife Debbie.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23 from 1-5 PM at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.
