William Shelhart

69, of Lowell, IN, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025.  He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Amy (Ryan) Gilmore, Beth Shelhart, and Carrie (John David) Kuhar; grandchildren, Connor and Allison Gilmore; and Annie, Joseph, Peter and Lucy Kuhar; siblings, Kendall (Denise) and Kris (Jim) Galliher.  He was preceded in death by his father, John; and mother, Ruby. 

Bill was a Heavy Equipment Operator with Local #150, had been a Lowell Bluebird Softball Coach, and enjoyed fishing. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 3 from 4-8 at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Private Entombment will take place in St. Edward Catholic Columbarium. 

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
